This series of watercolor paintings seeks to express political figures from 2020 through abstraction. The shapes, the colors, the textures all express either the full or partial characteristics of each of the people represented. In some cases, the painting may represent a person in a particular moment of time.

The paintings have been a way for me to personally process the political nightmare of 2020.

The descriptions have been left devoid of explanation or description beyond the name of the person they represent. This has been done in order to allow the viewer to find their own meaning in the paintings.
