Ryan lives in Montrose, Colorado where he paints, creates sculpture, and fine jewelry. Along with his creative works he is politically active and loves to hike, run, ski, snowshoe, and explore.

He thinks that art is a way to contribute to our contemporary social/political conversations without having to use words per se, it can be a more visceral emotional way to communicate. His artwork is a contribution to these conversations as well as a personal expression of aesthetics and perspective.
